Welcome to Little One Lit. We’re a group of moms, dads, journalists, doctors, teachers and other professionals who believe in the power of a great book. We update the site daily with book reviews, author Q&As, news, reading tips and more. On our site you’ll find, master lists of pregnancy, parenting, baby, toddler and lifestyle books.
Review Policy
Little One Lit is interested in all books geared toward pregnant women, parents, babies and toddlers. We love fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, journals, magazines and most other publications geared toward our target audience. We will recommend any and all products that we believe support and enhance pregnancy, parenthood or the early years. Books are reviewed by our team of contributors.
Reviews are never paid for – that’s what advertising is for. Messages from our advertisers will be identified as such, as sponsored links or banner ads.
How we conduct reviews
If you believe your book is a good fit for Little One Lit, email us with a release, background info and a high-resolution cover image. Should we think it’s a good fit, we’ll pass along our mailing address for a sample copy. Accepting a book does not guarantee a review. Our coverage is always 100% honest.

Do we receive free books?
Yes.
Do we review all books that arrive at our office?
In a perfect world, yes. Reality (and an office full of kids) dictates that we do our best. Our team of contributors works hard to be comprehensive and up to date.
Do we only publish positive reviews?
No. We believe in complete honesty & will post positive, negative, neutral, sarcastic and funny reviews.
Do we feature titles found on our own?
Yes. All the time
Are we paid for any reviews?
Occasionally. In those instances, compensation is fully disclosed.
Are we looking for new contributors?

Do we have a book club?
Yes. We currently offer three different book clubs – ages 0-1, 1-2 and toddlers. Subscribe for a year and get an age-appropriate shipment of books (with reading tips & suggested activities) every three months. Email us for shipping & pricing details.
Do we offer gift packages?
Yes. Little One Lit proudly offers six literature gift packages: pregnancy, mommy lit, daddy lit, parenting year one, baby classics & toddler classics.
