A big favorite in our office. Twelve Hours Sleep offers a logical, incredibly easy to follow plan said to get your child to sleep by her 12th week. Worked for us in at least one case – a blissful 8pm-8am in baby S’s 13th week.

One of the least intimidating pregnancy books we’ve seen. Tracy Hogg, late mother & neo-natal nurse, preaches a few simple lessons designed to create some structure for the early months.

We’ve got a many a friend who swear by Happiest Baby on the Blocks’ “5 S’s” for calming a fussy baby – swaddling, side/stomach positioning, shushing, swinging and sucking.
